The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I always hoped that during the Graham Norton show, that a audience member would ask Graham to recite the Bohemian Rhapsody bit like he did in the episode of Father ted
Man ya got me I'm gonna have to go back and look my old brain isn't pulling that up

and there was a episode of Father ted.....the one where Jack had died, and the woman whom was his lawyer/solicitor with Jacks will.....she was the lead backup singer in The Commitmen

You felt bad for the characters out in the middle of wind swept no where. But understandable when your realized how much the Bishop disliked them.
Ya it's time for a re watch

I think they preferred to be out of the watchful eye of the Bishop....actually its likely quite nice there

It looks like I slept through a busy evening at this greasy spoon.

Regardless, good morning, afternoon or evening depending on your location. It’s way too early in the morning for me but I need to be awake and functioning (coffee) so I can deliver my grandson safely to his day care/therapy.

My Tigers have me excited! Going to have an opening day celebration tomorrow.

Getting cataract surgery next month to help with my night vision issues.

☕☕☕☕
Cataract surgery is a breeze! I was so happy not to have to wear contacts or glasses! I still wear glasses to read as I now have no accommodation. But it's wonderful to wake up and be able to see! 👀

One of my co-workers dyes hers almost to the shape of purple. I imagine that she'd be quite gray without it. Her boss is Perpetually Blonde. I know that lasts longer than darker colors.

My hairline was receding at what looked to be a rapid rate when I was a teenager. It stopped so that I just have a high forehead. But I made myself the deal then that, gray or bald or both, I wasn't doing anything about either.
I think people should do what makes them happy with their looks.

Edited: To say Good Morning!
sheesh, where are my manners?
Just getting caught up for the day, then back to work.

In my 20s, chocolate brown with liberal amounts of gray. Friend of a friend was in cosmetology school. I was going for sort of mahogany - that beautiful mix of brown with reddish tones.
Working a factory job that summer.
Boss: What happened to you?
Me:
Boss: Your head
<took a few more cryptic clues before I realized he was asking about my hair>
Boss: It's purple
It wasn't purple, purple. Turns out the cosmetology school had run out of the color they were going to use that day. So the technician subbed in plum - without asking or discussing. They were right that I would have said okay - more so they would still get their credits toward graduation. But a heads-up would have been nice. The plum really came out under fluorescent lighting.
Sounds gorgeous!
