The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I guess I could a put a trivia question out there....name all Journey band members from the 1980 Captured line up, and to add a degree of difficulty, whom was their manager at that time?

I'm lucky if I can remember my own name let alone band members.
BTW...what is my name?

Edited: To say Good Morning!
sheesh, where are my manners?
Just getting caught up for the day, then back to work.
One of my co-workers dyes hers almost to the shape of purple. I imagine that she'd be quite gray without it. Her boss is Perpetually Blonde. I know that lasts longer than darker colors.
In my 20s, chocolate brown with liberal amounts of gray. Friend of a friend was in cosmetology school. I was going for sort of mahogany - that beautiful mix of brown with reddish tones.
Working a factory job that summer.
Boss: What happened to you?
Me:
Boss: Your head
<took a few more cryptic clues before I realized he was asking about my hair>
Boss: It's purple
It wasn't purple, purple. Turns out the cosmetology school had run out of the color they were going to use that day. So the technician subbed in plum - without asking or discussing. They were right that I would have said okay - more so they would still get their credits toward graduation. But a heads-up would have been nice. The plum really came out under fluorescent lighting.

Plum. Hmmm . . . .

The good Doctor Tyler (Mom) has been going back and forth on trying to find a new hairdresser. "I really miss B." "You haven't seen her since 1992." "I know, but...." She hates all of them and hates what they do to her hair. I get to listen.

Lucky me. ;)

My dad passed before my mom. They had a routine where the 1st hour after dad got home from work was all theirs. No kids. When my dad passed, my mom would keep this up. When we did dinner at her place, I learned never to be the first to arrive. I'd hear the synopsis of her day... then the next kid would arrive - and she would give the exact, same synopsis to them. It's a large family - by dinnertime I often had her synopsis memorized. It's been almost 6 years since she passed.
I wouldn't mind another synopsis actually.

I work an hour out of town. I call Mom each evening while driving home. She then proceeds to tell me all about her day of doing not much. Funny bit is, she almost never asks me how I am or how my day went. No matter, really. Yesterday, she told me about something that happened last Friday that she has told me about every day since then. At least she's not reliving her childhood, because she tells the same old stories. A lot!!!

We drove cross-country in 2000. Seven thousand miles in the car, the two of us. I wasn't as good then at heading off the repeat, and I wasn't good at staying calm, but I was better, and I was on my best behavior. So she told this one old shop-worn tale one more time, and I listened quietly to the end. When she paused to inhale, I said, "you know what?"

"What?"

"I tell that story better than you do."

Wouldn’t we all?

Make the best use of your time.

My mom drives me nuts sometimes. She is so stubborn! But I treasure my time w her.

Hence the Lovecraft in your name i suppose.

I can’t take those movies anymore. Altho I am tempted to see the new omen movie. The first movie was absolutely terrifying.
Exorcist only exists as the original to me (although 3 was good because it was based on Blatty's book Legion and he was involved) Evil dead for me is the original, the 2013 remake and the new one. ED 2 and army of darkness were hot trash. Three stooges meets demons, the show was awful too. I will now be attacked by Bruce Campbell fans LOL.

First Omen was great, remake looks...well, it could be good but I'm tired of remakes in every genre. I'll still to the originals.

Never got into howwoh (think Brando at the end of Apocalypse Now). I found a thing recently about under-rated westerns and spaghetti westerns, and I saw some films I haven't seen, so I'm giving those a go.

Loved Father Ted watched it all at least twice. Do you know why it stopped? I'm a Brit tv junky originally from Wyoming.....
well when they had the wrap up party for the series.....the fellow whom played father ted was not feeling well, and shortly there after he had a massive heart attack and passed......I think father jack is gone now too
