The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

As a Scotch-Irish lad meself, let me gently correct you…

That would be yer Family Tartan, Lass😊

What part of the old country would ye be hailing from? We’re from Port Appin, County Argyllshire (further research has actually turned up the Isle of Lismore as our probable ancestral home), it’s in the Inner Hebrides and part of the Highlands…FREEDOM! 😂
I stand corrected! Thank you, H! 😅🥰

Anyone like jeopardy? I know one other person here who like it.

It’s part of our nightly routine. Even my daughter, when she is here, enjoys it.

I tend to be good at trivia. But I can’t get anywhere on that damn Jeopardy test. I’m just not fast enough.

We should have Tuesday night trivia at our cafe/pub/greasy spoon!

My wife loves Jeopardy. I poke my head in and our during the show.

Ah! Retired life!! :D

I've been noticing this week (work) not a single woman - regardless of age, hair texture or length - is showing any grey.

What's cute is when a man tries to cover the grey in his beard and selects a super dark color that doesn't match any hair on his head or eyebrows
I think grey hair is quite sexy on a man.

I'm not sure that "cute" is the right term. "Womanless" is almost a certainty, and "Desperate" maybe figure into it, too.

Most of my woman co-workers who likely need dye, do.
I did, as the grey wasn't very friendly to the red.

Many years ago I worked with an older man who was rather handsome (he looked a bit like Caesar Romero). Salt and pepper hair and mustache. He had the unfortunate habit of occasionally showing up with shoe polish black hair. He wasn't fooling anybody... we saw him every day!

Covid made me care less about gray... I have earned every wisdom strand I have..... and every pound
Retiring made me care less about the grey! Breaking my arm made me care less about my hair length. I love the short, grey, curly hair I'm rocking now!

While I've also earned every pound, I'm finding I have less of a need for them. Working on that in the gym...

You do you, hunni! You only need to care about yours and the thoughts of others who care about you. 🫂💞🫂
