Yep I drove readymix and trust me you learn to know what other drivers are going to do before they do. I was not as good as your dad but very rarely was it driver air on this driver.

For sure... people drive too fast too close and don't know what a turn signal is

Many of them drive under really awful contracts or conditions. Especially those that don't own their own truck.

Or drive for companies that don't give a shit about safety or their drivers. Pay their drivers 50 cents a mile

Don’t get me started about stupid drivers. When taxiing my grandson, I have witnessed and avoided many distracted, inpatient or reckless drivers. I so have become the classic defensive driver.

What are everyones favourite take outs? Mine is pizza and the wifes is fish n chips, which I also enjoy, it's just that pizza is my first choice.
We recently discovered a place nearby that does the most fantastic fish n chips, and that's what we'll have for lunch today. Their portions are so generous, even I order a "small". The first time we went there, a friend warned us the portions were big, but I still ordered medium, simply because I never order a small of anything. Well I did finish it, but I felt way too bloated afterwards.

Those are my favorites. There are only a couple of places where the fish and chips are done right with a light beer batter. I’m fussy about the batter and the fish - white fish or walleye.

You're absolutely right, Miss K! I did not mean to paint all truck drivers with the same brush.

My perspective is somewhat skewed because of a former partner. He drove truck (gasoline and jet fuel), was an alcoholic, and an absolute Mr. Hyde when he was drunk.

My apologies to any of you who are responsible truck drivers!

Oh there are some awful drivers...my dad would tell them on the cb.... they would offer to talk about it at the rest stop but when they got called out and he offered to stop they changed their tune....

I had a Facebook argument when someone said that anyone going less than the speed limit was a dangerous driver.....whaaat???

I reminded them that that is not the law that is the highest or max speed limit for that road but the law says safe and prudent and if safe and prudent is 20 miles an hour that is how fast you should go. It digressed into me being fat and stupid and old, and my response to that was all true and a better driver than you.... they were mad

I'll never forget one day sitting in a coffee shop, there was a woman with friends at another table who had the most magnificent head of long, full bodied silver grey hair, it was so gorgeous I couldn't keep my eyes off her. If my wife hadn't been with me, I believe that on my way out I would have stopped by her table and told her just how stunning she looked.

At work, there is the most stunningly beautiful woman w gray/white hair (she is S African btw). She is just a picture of absolute beauty.

Going back 10-12, yo, I didn’t find women w gray hair very exciting. But now I am amazed at how beautiful women can be w gray hair. It’s a newly found turn on.
