This is my first time doing bonus points.
I have no idea what to expect.

Well, to be fair, I didn’t announce any plan for picking winners at all at the beginning, so right now everyone is just blindly earning points and hoping for the best

That thread has been my first stop every morning when I wake up to make sure my song is posted before someone steals my idea.

I think there’s a few of you that are pretty high up there. But there’s no chance of maxing out, especially with the decades week bonuses

Had I realized there were prizes, I may have paid attention to there being points. I was intentionally not doing so because so many things are already (too) competitve.

Totally. I (hopefully) made it very clear in my post about the bonus points that it’s very optional. Some people have expressed that they like the extra challenge of hunting for the right song and the competitive element. Others have said they don’t want to be bothered with them at all. I’m fine with both! I love everyone’s participation in the thread, regardless. As long as everyone follows the rule
