Next door neighbors got a new puppy...white german shepherd named sven
I have a new German Shepard puppy too!Next door neighbors got a new puppy...white german shepherd named sven
Dogs are everything! And that is why this thread survives. No coffee or tea for you young lady. I am up early beacuse of my old dog with a poor bladder. I love the guy.
This looks delicious! I frequently bring treats to my personal trainer. She would LOVEEEEE these! For the gluten free folks, try this recipe for a wonderful breakfast cookie. It is my favorite and I make many substitutions to it.

What an interesting looking bird! It's eyes make it look a bit mad!I'm not sure I like it or not, but it is very loud and not exactly a sweet tweet, and they all sound off in unison. I have better photos, but this one I took this morning so it seems appropriate to use it.View attachment 2330456
I have some friends near there. Are you guys still getting snow?Southern Ontario, by the Ontario/Michigan border
So, do you make a run for the border when you need it?Ok that one is up there for me as well—Glenlivet, I like the light blue bottle 12 year old
The Macallan is probably my all-time fave but I find the price to be a bit steep. That said, from what I have read, Costco’s Kirkland brand scotch IS in fact Macallan (AND Kirkland vodka is Grey Goose). In Canada our Costcos aren’t allowed to sell alcohol
I hope you had a word with the front desk! They need to replace that coffee maker. STAT!Morning all…
Nothing like waking up in the hotel and the in room coffee maker is Kaput!
Oh well…just trundle down to the breakfast bar early I guess. Like the look of the place Wanderer. You did a good job!
It's raining here off and on. I'm hoping to get in a walkie in between showers. It’s pouring rain here in NJ and we’re helping a friend move…. Should be not fun.
Could be worse….
I'm not a coffee drinker but I love the smell of it.If you gently drizzle (use a gooseneck) hot water over the grounds (don’t soak) before you brew, pour, press etc you can smell the vapor carrying away the more objectionable portion of the acidity.
(Takes a bit of practice but three or four cups should do it)
That will make a very smooth cup without affecting the robust grind and allow people who don’t like the high acidity of the darker coffees to enjoy them.
It was surreal how the whole thread suddenly blew up! I put one guy on ignore after he baselessly attacked me.The whole thing was awful.... I didn't even see anything bad just all of a sudden I am blissful in my ignorance ...good luck trying to ignore me...someone banned and new thread.....Can't say I dont have an ice feeling right now about the whole damn thing
And you have a new baby to love!Next door neighbors got a new puppy...white german shepherd named sven
What a great pic!A new bird to, I'd have liked to get a better pic but the birds here are wild and very shy, just cant get close at all without them flying off. Anyway, I saw enough to identify it as a Ground Scraping Thrush (not related to the common vaginal thrush)View attachment 2330488
I've made lemon-blueberry cakes! My favorite is a black forest. I make my own cherry pie filling with local cherries and honey as a sweetener. My cheesecake tastes have expanded over the past few years. There is a local winery that features a new flavor every week. I'd have to say that lemon-blueberry, and buckeye are tied for first place.
I am, as well. I had no idea as there was never any inappropriateness on our thread. I was happily ignorant...The offending posts weren't posted in the Over 50's thread, so most of us wouldn't have seen them, and I'm happy not to have seen.
This shot of a Southern Boubou made my day. Oh dear, file size is too large, I'll see what I can do.
Gorgeous!Trying again after resizing. Ah, success. View attachment 2330564
You're quite good at this!Another first time spotting for me, I've never seen or photographed this particular little Kingfisher before (brown hooded). It was almost a miracle that I even spotted him, far off and small, I had to select manual focus to get a clear shot as surrounding twigs etc. confused the autofocus.View attachment 2330568
Picture, please!I have a new German Shepard puppy too!![]()
If he went against community rules blocking was well deserved but to call out others as if we knew qnd were blissfully ignorant and mocking us "good luck trying to bl9ck me...hahaha" is yucky and it left me feeling ick.... but time to move onThe mods detected and deleted them before any could read them. And then he was banned. Poof.
