Still want to build a nice reach out and touch someone style .22-250 but it'll probably wait a few years... if ever. Too many things on the plate right now.

Glocks and all of the other members in the fantastic plastic group have a few commonalites.

They're cheap to produce.
They shoot like shit.
The public thinks the sight of one is enough to scare off the bad guys.

None of those things is good when it comes to self defense. Yes a Glock in hand is better than a rock in the yard you have to dig up, but the rock is arguably a better weapon.

Wat is of the "blessed is he who, having few expectations, is difficult to disappoint" school of thinking.

I get the whole Glock argument. I prefer my Sig. My Glocks do work better than rocks, mostly because Time has taken a bit off my fastball.

I like my Ruger LCP2 because it's easy to leave home with. My next handgun is likely a SA 1911 in 10mm. After break-in, I'd like to train it for some of that armor defeating ammo posted a page or 2 ago. Looks like it's slow down a rhino.

Or a RINO . . . .

;)

A handguns purpose is to buy time to get your rifle......

I refuse to be prejudiced against anything but a Jennings or a raven! I would rather have a stick than either of those

.300 win mag and a Glock trigger. I hope that works out better than the .44 automag!

I had one, an automag, pain in the ass to hand load and broken more than it fired. I think my cousin is using it to level his safe

Wat finds himself mildly annoyed with gummint in light of the recent go-'round in the municipality where we're working. One inspector in particular is being a petulant cunt.

Born out of pussification, you may be sure.

And as we all know, Jesus surely hates a pussy.

The Revolution will begin at the local gummint level, mark my words . . . .

Due in part to the new regulations in California that require expensive long term high definition video recording of the premises, several places that used to sell guns have opted out and now only sell high powered air guns.

Still, CA rules are significantly less strict than Putin’s rules in Russia. 🤔

So it's true? No one can hit shit at 1100 yds with a Glock trigger?

I think that all of us (who have any kind of clue, i.e Sentient Life) can agree.

As far as CA gun rules and the madness in the news (more to be disclosed), I think that Sentient Life can also conclude that the US is simply the wellest patient in the cancer ward as far as civil/human rights go.

Here we have more civilians (un/disarmed) dealing the (heavily armed) gummint "officials." There to he'p, of course.

Right. You need to be able to violently overthrow a representative democracy if the majority doesn’t go your way.
You really are proud of showing what an ignorant ass you are.

Samuel Adams was a Founding Father of our country and knew exactly what he was saying and exactly what he meant.

Yeah. The forefathers were right there thinking how important it is for an angry well armed minority to be able to air their grievances with firepower against the tyranny of a constitutionally democratically appointed system of law and order.
Show me specifically where your comment has any merit in what the Founding Fathers said or meant.

Sorry. The lightly veiled sarcasm must have gone over your head.

I really am a gun enthusiast. I own several. I’ve fired over 300 rounds of 9mm in the last two weeks.

The gun I always wished I could have for fun target shooting is this little 22Lr belt-feed replica of a Browning 30.

I read about it in Rifleman years ago and almost wished I lived in Indiana. 😅
