Stupid Boomer (aka 'Well Regulated Militia') Thread

Well-regulated militia invaded two Walmarts last evening, exercising their constitutional right to take out those who displease them. Two fatalities in a Walmart in Alaska, one fatality, three in critical condition after a shooting in Miami, Ohio.

The suspect in the incident has been identified as 45-year-old Hanme K. Clark. Clark was last seen on video surveillance entering a Walmart Parking lot following the shooting, purchasing "numerous items," before fleeing the area driving a white Ram 1500 ...

Can we shut that company down?

Jonathan Turley has a column out on a new poll by NBC News and Harvard. I’ll leave it to members of the Lit 2A Grievance Committee to chase down and critique the poll Turley is referring to. Maybe it’s a flawed survey, but if the sample and questions are properly designed, the results are quite surprising. It must be a chilling thought for some Democrats if, as the trend suggests, “half of the Democratic voters will soon be living in households with gun owners.”

Almost half of Democrats are gun owners and over half believe gun ownership is necessary. It is one of the greatest disconnects of either party with their membership.

I don't really get where/how the gun nuts think all Democrats want gun bans. The studies all show 87% of US citizens want gun controls. But there are nut bars on both ends of the spectrum, looking to be about 20% of the population falling in either of those groups.

Father arrested in Thanksgiving shooting death of 10-year-old son in Nebraska

A father has been arrested in the Thanksgiving Day shooting death of his 10-year-old son in Nebraska.
Updated info: Kid went outside of his house to get something out of the family car, triggered car alarm,

Dad ran out to the front door and shot the 'intruder' dead.

Father reportedly "very very sorry".

Prosecutor sez "castle defense" doesn't apply to cars in driveways. Or family members either, for that matter.

Father: “It ain’t my fault. My boy looked like seriously bad news! Like one of them communist immigrant types! It’s his own fault for not being armed and shooting me first! I’m thinkin’ Jimmy Bob were a lib antifa Marxist.”

The supreme irony here is that Daddy's trial starts this week. Family will not attend the trial because.....they have no way to get to the courthouse. The car that Daddy loved so much that he killed his son protecting had been repossessed for non-payment while Daddy sat in the county lockup.

Dunkin Employee Shoots at Customer For Slow Service Complaints: Police

The employee pursued the customer into oncoming traffic after a "verbal altercation."

Was it about holes?

“America Runs (and Guns) on Dunkin”

Holy smokes, this is wacko:

"The caller then left the store and drove away in his truck," the sheriff's office explained. "While driving down Weddington Road, the caller reported that Miller began following him and drove into oncoming traffic, pulling alongside his vehicle. At that time, Miller presented a pistol and fired multiple shots into the caller's truck."

Deputies with the sheriff's office patrol division responded to the call and eventually located Miller in his car near where the shooting had taken place. They attempted to pull him over for a traffic stop and began to pursue him when he failed to pull over. After a brief chase, he wrecked his vehicle in "a large field nearby," at which point he surrendered and was taken into custody by the deputies. A search of his vehicle turned up a semi-automatic pistol with an altered serial number and other things that were described as "additional evidence of the shooting."

Ahh, well, if you can't trust a lawyer with a gun .....

"LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Las Vegas lawyer and his wife had been in the middle of a contentious battle for custody of her children from a previous marriage when the woman’s former father-in-law, also an attorney, fatally shot them last week during a deposition hearing in the case, according to authorities and relatives.

The coroner’s office in Las Vegas identified the victims as lawyer Dennis Prince and his wife, Ashley. Both were shot multiple times, the coroner’s office said, before 77-year-old Joseph Houston shot and killed himself.

Gunfire erupted just minutes after the deposition hearing began on the morning of April 8 at Dennis Prince’s law firm, Prince Law Group, in the affluent Summerlin neighborhood."
