Will you vote for Trump?

Understood.

Now I will say that the upcoming election is one to very carefully consider one's vote and the real value of a vote for an independent candidate.

Earlier you made a careless - if you meant something else, please feel free to clarify - statement regarding the candidates as if they were on the same level. I would warn anyone to be cautious of using such hyperbole to define one's choices.
It’s my opinion. It maybe hyperbolic to you. But it’s my choice. I find both candidates to be quixotic and obsolete. None are worth the vote that’s to be cast in their favor. But I wouldn’t bother telling you or anyone here to vote a certain way or the dangers of voting one way or another.

Once again - the real value a vote to be cast or not cast is not yours to decide. It’s a personal choice.

And it is my opinion that the decision to vote independent is one to be made carefully. That opinion is based in the events of history. Under Trump I saw half of the population in multiple states lose their right of bodily autonomy. Not to mention the complete and utter chaos of the day to day political dealings.

I find your comparison of the candidates to be cavalier of history.

Well said. I accept your opinion. You have the right to it. :)

There is plenty wrong with our party system, and the people and policies which are currently a part of it. No one blames anyone for wanting a complete tear-down.

This, however, is obviously not the time for it. First priority is to preserve the democracy as best we can - which makes November a binary and easy choice. If there's no democracy, everything else becomes moot. There'll be nothing to fix.

"I don't like any of it, so I'm not going to participate" will come with consequences to the people who adopt that stance. It's your right to take it, but not your right to avoid the aftermath. :)
Not sure any of us can avoid the aftermath of incompetence of politicians. I intend to participate. How I participate is my right as is yours.

White men are pretty well-insulated from the consequences of a Trump Presidency. Women, blacks, and immigrants are likely to continue to bear the brunt of his toxic ideology.

I've never heard a black guy do the "both sides are equally bad" act.
Your posts are shockingly illuminating. I might just save this for shits and giggles and just plain rubbernecking later.

But I can’t resist - So you think blacks can’t be republicans? Only white people?

Leftists don't seem to grasp there is a wide spectrum of opinions and beliefs across all groups of people.

Their opinions of non whites are shockingly racist and rampant.

For example, their belief that non whites cannot get voter ID as easily as anyone else. They try to excuse their racism by claiming it's really a concern about economic or accessibility issues, but that only further highlights how they view non whites.

There are black Republicans, but I've never heard one claim that both parties are equally bad. That's a tactic of stealth conservatives who can't actually defend their own positions, but still want to tear the Democrats down.

So I am a “Stealth white conservative” posing as black man on lit trying to tear the Democrats down?

Or is it that you think blacks need help choosing the correct party, and you’re here to help them choose what’s good for them?

I'm going to hazard a guess you're familiar with examples of black conservatives being horribly attacked by leftists for not toeing the line.

Larry Elder is a prominent example that comes to my mind.

I have no idea if you're black or white. I do think you're a conservative who pretends to be an independent because it gives you cover to attack the left without ever having to defend what you actually believe in.

I’m not even a conservative. I just find it incredibly repulsive that people want to
Put others in political boxes based on their race.

I voted for Biden last election, sat out the election before because I find Hillary Clinton’s tactics despicable and I found Trump to be a meme more than an actual candidate. Prior to that I voted for Obama both times and for Bush prior to that because again Gore and Kerry were suck dolls for their respective lobbies.

So no. Not close. The fact that you “suspect” my political ideologies gives me license to think you’ve begun to think you have the right to tell others what is right for them.

What's your opinion of the Black Lives Matter movement?
I think it’s a well deserved movement. IMO It has swung too far in ideology but it was a necessary correction to the unchecked power that police departments had over people of color.

Any other questions?
