I’ve read that before. I think it means that as a group, people with concealed carry permits have less legal charges and convictions than the rest of the population as a whole. On the other hand, I don’t know how the breakdown goes

I have . . . .

In the course of my job, I have submitted documents and information, including fingerprints, that has anll me access to government run facilities. My ID has expired, and my job has seen fit not for me to renew. I am assuming that the FBI or government authorities can easily access if needed.

I value my privacy and do not care to share unnecessary information about myself with the government but I also understand that there is a give-and-take for me to enjoy some of these freedoms and privileges. You seem very proud of your concealed weapons permit. You followed procedure, and acquired properly. You should be just as upset as I am, when you read constantly about someone giving your due diligence a bad name. You should be asking why it’s still occurring even with these measures in place. Maybe the measures aren’t good enough?
