You said a lot, but the only thing I can conclude from your comments, is that you do not understand the obstacles "republicans" are erecting to voting in America today, nor the obstacles to voting that were erected by racists in America in the past.

The I.D. issue may not seem like a big deal, but when a person is struggling just to stay afloat, the cost and hassle of getting an I.D. (and the cost and hassle each time they move - which for some people is often) can be daunting and prohibitive.

Voter suppression through "republicans" (racists) enacting burdensome laws on / conditions for voting is meant to have a deterrent / chilling effect on voting. (And less people voting has helped "republicans"since they became the party of racists after Nixon and company executed their successful "southern strategy" campaigns.)

Make something difficult / costly enough, and a certain percentage of voters will say “fuck it.”

Seems that the few cases of voter fraud that do occur are perpetrated by individuals supporting GOP candidates. An Iowa court recently convicted the wife of a Republican county supervisor for harvesting mail-in ballots from the local Vietnamese enclave there, completing the ballots by selecting GOP candidates, then submitting them.
