Anybody else here find themselves suddenly thinking, “There’s no way I’m really ___ years old, that’s a mistake, I can’t be any older than ___,” and then later on suddenly feel their age and think, “No way should that be happening, I’m only _____ years old?” Maybe it’s just me.
Not just you! In my mind, I'm still in my 30s. Then I pass a mirror and wonder who that hag is. 🤣🤣🤣 My trainer says I work out like a youngster. I think she's just being nice to me! 😅😅

The common cold became a sinus infection. I have meds now! They will take a few days but should be feeling better soon.
Oh, ugh! I'm so sorry! Are you on antibiotics? Or is it viral? Drink lots of fluids; warm liquids like teas will help to loosen the mucous so you can get it out. Try not to drink too much coffee. It's a diuretic and will make you pee out the fluids your body needs to help fight the infection.

Anyone else have something you just can’t seem to part with?

Years ago I bought a Ninja Shirt from Lowe. It fit like a second skin. Long sleeves w/thumbies and a skin tight hood Made from a fuzzy fleece. It was on me for many, many trips in subzero weather. After years of service I realized that it has worn thin. The fleece is gone and the shirt is mostly the nylon 'mesh' that held the fleece.

I have a polypropylene Helly-Hansen zip-up turtleneck base layer I bought at least 35 years ago and still wear a couple of times a year under my cycling jersey.

This is polypropylene from the days when if you put it in the dryer it became doll clothing. I think I kept it the first 10 years because it was so freaking expensive at the time, after that I started wearing it “one-more-time” and now we’re just old friends.

Think I may still have my 'I shot JR' T-shirt somewhere, can't throw it away, it's a classic :)

Thank you for your concern. You are a good heart.

Last night I slept well on the antibiotics and steroids. I cough at night but still get sleep. The coughing is productive.

Coffee is tough. I need at least a cup in the morning. Then I switch to Yorkshire tea. Lots of water too.

A side effect of steroids is hunger. I watch that with my Type 2 diabetes.

They call me HorderHumpDayHoratio around these parts…

Just ONE thing I can’t part with? Try a whole garage full of crap I can’t part with! My wife is at the point of threatening to just go and start culling the herd when I’m away at work.😮

On Valentine’s eve my mechanic gave me news that’s left me with a broken heart. My beloved Ford F-150 of exactly 20 years has sputtered its last puff of exhaust. 💔😢
If you start seriously looking you’re apt to find Dealers don’t have many, or even any, of whatever you’re interesting in. That magic equalization between supply chain and manufacturing doesn’t seem to have found it’s mark yet.

I haven't had a personal car for over 18 months and I doubt I ever will again. But I can do that, I know most people can’t but it’s a freeing experience if you can work it out.

Good luck with your search.
