2 hostages rescued so far

Good news, but it definitely makes things more dangerous for the remaining hostages.

The Hamas animals will likely be very trigger happy whenever an Israeli air strike / bombardment is taking place in the vicinity of a hostage stash house.

🤬

The rescue did PROVE that the Hamas animals have a presence in Rafah, which serves to justify the IDF’s attacks there.

The rescue is a mixed bag imho.

While one set of humans were rescued another set was killed
Humanity is still hostage to animals of different persuasion.

I suspect they know where most of them are and have plans already underway. They knew exactly where these two were for a while but needed the war to move to rafah to rescue them.
What concerns me besides the rest possibly being dead is the rumors of some of them being smuggling out through the tunnels to Egypt along with Hamas leaders. From what I have read there were only 106 live hostages as of last week. So they have a lot of bodies to recover as well.

Supporting and encouraging a maniacal mass murderer is not a wise position to take. Hopefully the Yahu will be in prison soon.

Wtf are you doing treating Noor so disrespectfully?
Lol..... No one here is special. No one here has provided a single source about any story.

It takes two seconds to copypasta a url from the news story you're reading online.

i understand your concerns, Noor

the rescue of those two hostages, though, saw a terrible toll on life, including children's

Israel’s army described the overnight attacks as cover for a special forces mission to rescue two elderly Israeli-Argentine hostages. The operation succeeded, but at massive human cost: At least 67 people were killed in locations throughout the area, the enclave’s Health Ministry said. A video from a nearby house showed the body of a Palestinian girl, her legs shredded into ribbons of flesh; other footage showed a bleeding boy being carried away, and four more children dead on hospital stretchers.

i don't comment on this war too much since i'm at a loss as to how hostages can be rescued without great loss of civilian life, and yet they still need rescuing :(

The only way the war will be over is when the hostages are all rescued or released and Hamas is no longer in power. There was a plan in place where hostages were released, but Hamas choose not to continue it, just like they chose the massacre and take hostages during a previous ceasefire agreement.
The sooner the war is over, the better for the Gazan people.
Considering that Hamas controls the news out of Gaza, we no idea at this how many children were killed.
The video of the raid shows military aged men, but one would expect children to be asleep or hiding at 1am so who knows?
This is war, civilians die, sometimes for no military reason like the bombing of Dresden and Bath. However, Rafah has military significance as does the rescue of the hostages.
Throughout this war, Hamas has chosen not to allow civilians to hide in their 500 miles of tunnels, and Hamas leaders say it is the UN’s responsibility to protect the citizens of Gaza. So far, other than providing aid which the citizens may or may not get, the UN has not done much to help the non Hamas Gazans.
If the remaining hostages have been smuggled out, Israel may level the city looking for them unless the know otherwise.
No country in the world has volunteered to take Palestine refugees at this point, which I understand in that they don’t want Hamas, but I don’t understand because they are fellow Arabs. Jordon which was part of historic Palestine and has a queen who is Palestinian won’t even take them.
They are stuck there just as much as those in Israel are stuck in Israel.

Which is why Yahu needs to be locked up.
I’m assuming you mean Jews when you say Yahu, not G-d which is the literal translation.
Like Christians need to be locked up for the US’s response to 9/11?
Your prejudge seems to be overtaking your common sense.

Or do you mean Yahya Sinwar? And yes, he should be locked up at the very least.

jaF0 means Netanyahu.

And yes, Netanyahu probably should be locked up for corruption, but not for how he is prosecuting the war against the Hamas animals and their "civilian" enablers / cohorts.

*nods*

I mean Benny The Fucking Yahu and the rest of his merry band of mass murdering bastards in the command staff of the Israeli Disaster Farce.

I mean Benny The Fucking Yahu
We used to call him old shifty eyes when he was at MIT. He should be locked up a many things, but not anything to do with the IDF or the war.

and while no-one is 'special' here, Noor has never, ever done any harm or mistreated anyone here on Lit for all the years she's been a part of it. She is kind, intelligent, compassionate and a good good person.
But a reporting source really needs to be provided. I mostly use the Political board to check on unfolding news. It's disconcerting when no context is provided.

On this particular action, according to reports run on CNN through the day, two hostages were rescued and, to cover their extraction, at last count 94 Palestinians were killed in the covering barrage. I'm not going to be quick to say that is a desirable tradeoff.

Sorry, I got it from IDF’s twitter feed, I will link next time. After the early hospital parking lot incident, I tend to be distrustful of some mainstream media.
I figured hostage rescues coming from the horses mouth was safe. They also had video of the rescue and the interactions with the hostages in the helicopter. Young soldiers sounding like Jewish moms or grandmothers was amusing.

So, another one who posts propaganda instead of independent news.

The body counts of close to 100 came from Hamas almost immediately, mostly children. I suspect it was mainly military age men. The only numbers I trust are how many soldiers were lost in the rescue at this point.

If they are the rescuers, they have video of the rescue including the hostages, I don’t think it gets much better than that.
