US officers tried to prevent black soldiers from going into pubs that they had 'reserved' for themselves. The British didn't put up with that shit; the soldiers had come to do their bit and were welcome.

Trump has all but destroyed Putin and any dreams he might have had for global hegemony. The sanctions Trump has placed on the Russians has diminished the Russian economy and left the majority of it's conventional military capability in ruins.

When did I say I wanted them to surrender? I've only stated the military facts on the ground in Ukraine. They have been strategically defeated on the field. Hundreds of thousands have been killed and wounded. It's all over but the shouting. The weapons we're providing are not going to affect the outcome. Only the politicians and political soldiers who are trying to save their own asses and reputations are saying any different. The Ukrainians will never recover from the disaster that has been inflicted on their population in their lifetimes. Almost 20 million have left the country never to return because there is nothing left to return to.

The U.S. Navy terminated the command of Captain Michel Brandt, the female commander of the amphibious transport dock USS Somerset, less than a year into her tenure, the Navy Times reported.

“Capt. Tate Robinson will replace Capt. Brandt as commanding officer until a permanent relief arrives. Capt. Brandt will be administratively assigned to Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet.”

“Navy commanding officers are held to high standards of personal and professional conduct. They are expected to uphold the highest standards of responsibility, reliability and leadership, and the Navy holds them accountable when they fall short of those standards,” the statement added.

The Navy has been vocal about its commitment to these initiatives, even releasing a comprehensive DEI program in 2021.

I heard that the recently deployed rainbow colored tanks and equipment has surprisingly correlated with decreased military effectiveness and increased casualties.

Billions from the military budget to be spent on analysis and focus groups to see if they can nail down the problem.

and billions more spent on equipment left in the desert. but that's ok, the soldiers that were ORDERED to leave equipment behind had to pay for that equipment when they left the military. So our government didn't pay for the equipment... our soldiers did.
