Depends on what specific groups and where they live. Cuban descendents have been voting red for a bit.

The problem with many of the electorate, (and specifically pollsters and campaign officials) is that they generalize everyone into the same group when the majority of those people are more complex and varied on their preferences. Until that stops, it's a detriment to those seeking their votes.
