Three US servicemen killed 25 +injured, what now.

We need to strike iran at the command level. These attacks will not stop.
we need to make a statement mister president.

What do you suggest he should do?
Me personally, take out all of Iran’s oil production platforms and sink their navy. IMHO

How those drones got through is a perplexing problem.

What are absolutely childish things to say? Why should cops arrest criminals? After all the deed is done.
I asked a question.

Why should fire fighters put out fires after all the structure has burned

Why should anyone do anything about anything after the deed is done

hard to believe the idiot comment
It's a question that I'm sincerely asking

It was actually what the OP asked on the thread.

Total bullcrap the United States is letting this happen.
strike back and hard. Let them know we will not tolerate this.
they presive us being weak

Once more our enemies attempt to goad us into a war at the behest of China.

China NEEDS the US to be at war elsewhere in the world so that they can continue their domination and expansion plans in the S. Pacific unopposed.

Should have done it last year. IMHO
Fair enough. I think any attack on Iran risks a full on global war.

Having so many "Iran funded" groups makes it difficult because most act independently from Iran. I think an airstrike in Syria on the groups would be sufficient in response.

In my opinion we should immediately move all vulnerable troops to full size secure bases, remove those liabilities. A hit on Iran at a time of our choposing. Another defensive move could be to mine coastal Iran. Time to find out who our friends are and develop a military coalition to protect shipping and hit terrorist bases consistently and unrelentingly wherever they launch from. If they kill Americans the pain inflicted should be substantial. This IMHO is a big risk for escalation but either we get out or punch back harder.

I don't disagree with that approach, actually. It all depends on how much we depend on our satellite setups. Removing them could mean operational blindness.

One oops Iran probably overlooked was the hit happened in Jordan. Don’t want to piss off Jordan.

Yah, and they probably will be why we don't escalate. Having Jordan run interference will be helpful.

The usual MAGAt suspects are so dumb…

🙄

So the U.S. should start a full scale war with Iran, etc, (because that’s what would happen if the U.S. acts the way the usual MAGAt suspects in this thread are suggesting.)

😑

And when the inevitable spike in oil prices and inflation occurs as a result of those U.S. acts and the subsequent war, I’m sure the usual MAGAts suspects won’t blame President Biden, and instead will vote for him because he followed their advice…

🙄

👉 usual MAGAt suspects 🤣

Multiple Stratotankers making their way to UK….no doubt pushing on to the mid east afterward.

There will be, as Biden announced, retaliatory action(s). Certainly, the situation room is buzzing with proposed scenarios and intelligence briefs flying back and forth from all resources. The military feedback will ultimately recommend a viable action plan for Joe Biden's sign-off. Given his past actions, some terrorists are going to get smoked, probably like the Yemen situation - just where that strike(s) will be is bothersome.

I’ve seen a report that Iranian backed militants are evacuating their camps in eastern Syria.

It seems they DO fear President Biden.

🇺🇸

And, yeah, some Iranian backed militants in Syria are definitely getting a visit from the grim reaper in the coming hours / days / weeks - no matter where they run.

Ultimately, if attacks on U.S. forces continue, an attack on Iran’s drone making industry seems like a reasonable next level response, given that it was a drone that killed and injured the U.S. soldiers

That ^ would also impact Russia’s ability to commit it’s war crimes in Ukraine. And, given that Russia is behind a lot of the agitation in the world right now, sending a message to Russia via an attack on Iran’s drone manufacturing industry seems appropriate.

👍

Drone production would be an intriguing target, if they are in large facility concentrations. The USA struck launch sites thus far.

The Iranian drone systems are sub-assembly processes and are not produced in a centralized site from the descriptions of the early Ukrainian videos showing the crashed ones: small engines and off-the-shelf parts as well.

"The majority of components in Iran’s drones—including microchips and GPS modules—were made in the United States, which is supporting Ukraine. The components, used for functions ranging from navigation to data processing, have been traced to two Iranian suicide drones—the Shahed-131 and Shahed-136—and the Mohajer-6, a drone that can conduct both strikes and reconnaissance." Source info: drone components

That last bit of info is painful to learn. We provide better shit-killing equipment components, and they get purchased by an enemy, assembled, and sent back with deadly force. Irony. [That supply chain [of legitimate parts] is severed, but the quantities are already out there and beyond our control.]

Why is it bothersome?
