Sadie is now back in the hands of the shelter team. They wanted her back ASAP so as not to stress her out more than is necessary. I feel like I've let her down and I'm gutted but I realise it's the best choice for Sadie and that is what is important.

You've not let her down, you've helped Sadie be together with her family. You've given her what she needs, you could have persisted and she'd have been miserable but you've been sensible and generous giving her back. I say well done to you .
