Brown - Garden
Maroon (Red, purple or somewhere in between) - Recycling (Plastic, cardboard)
Green box - Glass / tins for recycling
Blue box - Paper for recycling (God forbid anyone mixes cardboard and paper!)
Obviously the boxes don't have lids so depending on the weather, we have a fortnightly clean up of everyone else's shit that has blown across our front garden

What a mess!! Wonder if even the councils know what the colors mean! You wouldn't think it was that tough to agree on this? After all, we got some of the metric system in place!
