love tractors and sex. Can’t say the same about death, tho.

Cold weather has killed my 1972 Ford 4000. Battery is good, but it’s not turning over.

I think the super cold has really messed with the fuel. Getting warmer in a few days.
Oh no... hopefully it is an easy fix

So many people told me to get a battery route and put it on the tractor. But I’m too stubborn.

I typically just started every couple of days to keep the battery charged.

But, if your tractor diesel has gelled, you can add some gasoline to it and it will run. Been there.

It is a very talkative group. We even had a 12 days of Christmas spin off for the geinch of the group (me!!). We talk about everything... last week it was civil war generals and how to cook the best ribs and this week was sheds and best time to pit one in. Just a great group of people. I am thankful for my lit friends. Welcome 😃

Ty for the welcome. Nice to see it isn't all sex in here lol. Obviously some is good but we all live lives and do other stuff and have other wants, needs, hobbies, interests, etc.....
Oh and I volunteer to taste test those rides for everyone 🤣😂

Sometimes the best thing to do on the coldest of days is to forget about the vehicle outside and just stay inside in the coziests of homes. Nice thing about being over 50 is being able to say “I’m too old for (fill in the blank).”
Did that at the cabin after Christmas when it was -30°F. Went outside for only essential things, like fetching firewood and performing bodily functions.

Questions for people but mostly for the guys
Do you do social (partner) dancing?
If so what kind?
If not, do you wish you could? What stops you?

Im about to start a dance in my town, and would like to get some thoughts I do expect a significant 50 plus audience.

I’ve never been much for dancing, although I can get into some of the 60s dances with a group. I always feel way too conspicuous since I’m usually at least a few inches taller than anyone around me… plus I feel like I look like this:
