It all depends on your plans.... heading toward retirement are you going to want to travel where a dog would not allow that or are you a take my dog on a hike and plan things around you and your pup.... time for some soul searching.... I don't have animals because I would be a terrible dog mom..... I have a step pup that lives next door who I spoil and adore..... and he loves me right back.... and that is enough for me....should I get a puppy?
My two other dogs are getting up in age. It’s time when I typically introduce a new one to the menagerie.
However, as I am now in my fifties, I wonder if this is the last opportunity to get a puppy?
I will be in my sixties when the puppy will be a ‘senior’ dog.
I've not seen the expiration date on my birth certificate![]()
