So I like the sports, but you might care too much whether another person likes the sports.

Sports and fandom are the most important least important thing out there.

I give zero fucks if someone likes sports but if you think they are dumb well then and you want to share that I will call you the fuck out. It is like someone telling me music is dumb. Ali and Bob Dylan probably changed the world more than any fucking politician in 60s.

I'd say she was entitled to her opinion. I find an awful lot of things dumb that a lot of people are heavily invested in.

We can all point to positives of things we like. We can all point to negatives of things we dislike. I love football (that's soccer to you cute colonials out there). Football has the power to bring communities together in a way very few other things do, but I despise the hooliganism it generates (where this doesn't seem to be the case in other sports).

Soccer AND American football have the ability to bring communities together BUT more often than not, those who treat the games like RELIGION ruin the enjoyment for others!

For a lot of countries soccer and religion intersect. Certain days you cant walk Streets of Glasgow if you are Celtic fan. Has as much to do with Protestant tradition as football.
