I used to work with someone whose out of office used to state he would do it, his theory was that if it was urgent someone else would deal with it whilst he was away. It seemed to work for him.

Beware M&S Food chicken Kyiv!!!
Got zapped with salmonella. NHS website said could take 10 days to recover. I thought 2 or 3 would do it, but sure enough takes fucking ages.
Kitchen tip….cook ‘em for longer than it says on the pac…..or just don’t buy ‘em
