I'm glad the season is over but sad that I now have to take down all the decorations. I love all the lights. It will seem really dark and empty when everything is put away.
If I had my way, I'd keep the lights up year round. I'd get those color changing lights and change them per holiday. I did that once w/ an 8' tree in my bedroom when I was younger.

Going to try getting the outside lights down if it's not pouring down rain!
You may have a chance tomorrow morning before the weather gets bad later in the afternoon and into the evening!! I still remember you trying to get those up a few months ago and now it's time to take them down? Wow time really flies!!

Have a nice weekend!!

Well what is everyone doing for the weekend
Super busy day tomorrow.

Delivering two cords of wood.
A few errands.
Catch a bit of daughters volleyball game. It’s her first game as a coach!
Moving snowblower out of barn and into garage.
Fixing my log splitter.
Shopping for a pot luck (if it doesn’t snow it out)
Stacking firewood if time permits.

Sunday is wide open for sex and tv. Maybe take down Christmas tree and decos.

Big party?
I honestly don’t know for sure how many people are coming… I’ll be doing a veggie tray, a cheese tray with crackers, making whoopie pies instead of cake, and trying to make this appetizer that’s low in carbs. There will be some chips and dip as well, and little smokies in the crockpot in bbq sauce. Hoping to have the prep and such done by the end of the day Saturday but i might have to go through the fridge and clean some stuff out because my family isn’t consuming leftovers at an acceptable rate. The dogs will be very happy!

Towing the broken brush mower to the barn, and swapping places with the snowblower. Finally putting the plow stakes in. Piling some pine limbs from last winter so they can be burned this winter....

OK, now that we've got things rolling here, let's see what we can find out about each other! Here's some questions I hope everyone will take the time to answer, and of course, I will answer them myself.

1. How old are you? 60, 61 next month
2. If you still work, what field are you in? High School Substitute Teacher
3. What was the last time you got a reminder of just how old you are? Today, I was talking with an 18-year-old and they mentioned how old their mother was, and I was old enough to be their mother's father!
4. Do you have a partner you have sex with? Not at this time
5. Have you found yourself being more or less kinky as you get older? Definitely more
6. If you had a chance to become half your age, physically, would you, and what would you do? I would definitely take that, because most of my medical crap happened in the last 20 years, so I could avoid some of that stuff happening by making changes. And I would probably be going after younger women!
7. What's the best part of being over 50? A lifetime of learning and wisdom that I can't get my own kids to listen to.
8. What's the worst part about being over 50? Things hurting for no good damn reason at all.
9. Do you have less than or more than 5 prescription medications you take daily? I'm at 6 now, but I could be looking at a 7th soon.
10. How many years younger than you is the youngest person you've had sex with? 9, I think, and that would be my wife. I don't know that I knew the ages of previous partners, some could have been younger than that.

Looking forward to responses!

Well what is everyone doing for the weekend
I need to cook breakfast and clean up the driveway and the snomo trailer parking area. And fix the wiper in the cruiser. And put the Trek on the trainer. And wrap a box that came late for Xmas. And that's just for early tomorrow.

Greetings all, I thought I’d try starting a thread for the Litsers who have passed the half-century mark so we’d have a special spot to talk about things that affect us. I hope we’ll find lots of people to post!

Maybe with your first post, a brief intro like so:

I’m mpeters, male, straight, 60 years old. I live in western Washington state. I’m married with four adopted children and work as a high school substitute teacher.

Once you’ve introduced yourself, then go on and talk about what’s on your mind!

In my case, my wife and I haven’t had sex in over 10 years, so I’ve had to handle things myself. I’ve considered trying to find a FWB, but as my students would say, I’ve got no game. I suspect that this kind of arrangement is hard to manage at my age, but I could be wrong. Trying to get something started that I could make work with my schedule would be a challenge too!
Grew up in Washington but now in utah

I am doing nothing.... just
