Love anklets too. Had my wife's wearing some, but she heard it meant she was available so she quit. Has anyone heard this?

Yes. The wearing of such is said to be by someone of "easy virtue" or, someone who would love you by the hour. It can also be just a piece of jewellery. Believe what you will.....

Awwww, that is too bad. I think there is a huge distinction between something possibly meaning something, and being THE meaning of it, and ankle bracelets definitely fit into that statement.

My wife knows the potential meaning of an ankle bracelet and yet has worn them for years, and quite often. As of yet, she has never been approached by anyone suggesting any sort of hotwife lifestyle, and honestly, I do not expect it.

She wears hers on her left ankle because she is married and wears her wedding band on her left ring finger. But most of her anklets have a simple pendant charm of some kind, like a cross, dolphin, or jewel, so they are simple and not advertising anything more. And she is not alone in that. I noticed that at the church we go to, on any given Sunday there are 8-10 women who wear ankle bracelets out of a few hundred parishioners. While going to church does not automatically make a woman a prude, it don’t think that many women are advertising a hotwife lifestyle there, either.

Unless the ankle bracelet has a specific charm on them like the Ace of Spades, letters that say "HW" (Hotwife) or the words "Hotwife" or "Slut" itself, I think it is wrong for anyone to read more into it then what it probably is: it is just a woman with a piece of jewelry adorning her ankle.
 
There was only one time that I ever saw any kind of question for my wife wearing an ankle bracelet.

We had just got out of church, and we were both dressed up nicely, with my wife in a skirt, pantyhose, heels and an ankle bracelet, and had to run into Home Depot for me to grab some quick parts for a weekend home project. As we looked for our parts, we were joined in the aisle by a young husband and wife, and the wife just looked at my wife’s ankle bracelet, back up at what she was wearing, then back down, and you could just see the huge question on her face. I am not sure if it was “a you wearing that because you are a hotwife’, or if she was wondering, ‘do you know the meaning of ankle bracelets”, but you could tell, she was hyper-focused on the ankle bracelet.

But nothing was ever said, just a look of bewilderment and surprise.

Thanks for the information. Ankle bracelets are incredibly hot especially when the woman has gorgeous feet. I will have to get my wife to re-think her decision.
