Could be both, but probably not the same ring, unless it's elastic rather than metal.

Or, if you're one of those guy's who's a shower not a grower, possibly the same ring could serve when both flaccid and erect.

For me, one which could fit and be enjoyable when erect would just fall off when flaccid.

Are you talking about one ring you could wear in either place depending on state? That's a bit hard to imagine. And I've never seen a ring which goes around both. I'm imagining a figure 8 or something, and imagining you couldn't get erect in it.

You'd want to measure yourself with a string around yourself under/behind the glans, use the circumference/pi = diameter formula, and shop for "glans rings" of the specific diameter you came up with, or maybe up to a couple of millimeters smaller.

Also, depending whether you want to wear it while flaccid or erect, you might need two sizes. And be careful about wearing the small one and then getting erect in it, if you go for metal. Elastic, probably not a real problem other than discomfort.

And try a not-heavy one before you go for a heavy one.

I’m going strictly for show in the right situations, so I want it for flaccid. I want the weight for good swing. 🤪
