To be fair, I don't believe Trump himself has targeted the LGBTQ community to the extent he's targeted other vulnerable minorities. But his core constituency is the red state Christian Right, and there is no debate about their stance on homosexuality.

If you want to argue with me, that's probably not your best angle of attack.

I can agree with this. Trump, to his credit, has not been overly homophobic. Trump is an opportunist. The people who back Trump though, including the partisan hacks on the Supreme Court, are! They know that a trump administration would not stand in the way of revisiting the right to marry.

I'm not just thinking of gay marriage. Think about "don't say gay" laws and book banning and DeSantis' war with Disneyland.
