I'm reading this article about the etiquette of the Bloody Mary. And how it's typically only for breakfast or brunch and a lot of places won't even serve them after 3pm. And how much bartenders hate people who order them later.
And I've never heard of this. I don't like them, but my mom adores them and she orders them everywhere, all the time and it's never been an issue.
But then I get to the end of the article and I get my explanation. "Of course, the timing is often regional. In places known for heavy drinking, like London or Wisconsin, there is no taboo associated with the late Bloody."
