The answer to the question “what started the Civil War” is the easiest question in the world to answer. Each state told you the reason in their articles of secession……it was slavery.

I personally like to know who the alts are so I don't waste my time trying to get to know the persona they've created. I don't care if it's male or female. I just want to know not to waste my time.
I've done this. Invested a good year into someone that I got really close to and even planned to meet at some point.
Only to find out (after ghosting me for years after realizing they'd gotten in too deep to just be honest) that it wasn't even a female. It was a male.
I know myself too well to know how attached I can get to someone.
Granted this is why I rarely let myself get that close to people anymore.

Understandable but why blast them publicly? That’s what I don’t understand. I’ll admit I like to know who they are just to be nosey but overall I don’t care. And maybe they’ve changed, maybe they haven’t. But even the ones that aren’t alts can burn you and ghost you….

I don't recall blasting Nick. I simply wondered who the alt was since others posted about an alt.
I don't have a lot of female friends on lit anymore (yes. My own doing) so I'm not in the "know"
I'm nosey too and like to at least be aware. I'm capable of blocking anyone who is too much for me.
And yes. Anyone can ghost. I did it.

But I also won't apologize for needing to focus on my own health and well being. You're the only one I apologized to. Because I did still care and took ownership in a douchy move.

I didn’t say you blasted him. I didn’t call out any one single person. I called out behavior I see that I personally don’t like and don’t see the point in.

I also never said anything about you concentrating on yourself….you should, it’s healthy, you shouldn’t waste energy on things that don’t serve you or replenish you. I never said you ghosted me. Yes you did ghost me but it wasn’t because of your health. Yes it was a douchy move and yes you did apologize.

I was simply stating anyone can burn you, any invested time can be wasted and if it is an alt they can be ignored … I don’t see the point in all the wasted energy like last night. Just my opinion.
