I expect / predict the "Starship" technological / practicable overreach to be the next Elmo fail.
Elmo’s crusade to "save free speech” by massively overpaying for Twitter, and then driving it into the ground, is yet another example of the boy blunder’s fallibility.

No doubt about it. The guy’s a penniless loser. He’ll be living in a homeless encampment under an LA freeway overpass, burning mattresses to keep warm on Christmas. Very sad.

I’m actually at an encampment next to transit hub in the Bay Area burning trash and watching Netflix on my phone at the moment but will be heading to LA over the weekend. If you know any good spots for panhandling in Calabasas lmk.

She's good about complaining about cars and parking lots. Not so vocal about what to do about the current drought/water and energy shortages or where to put all the trash and other physical waste LA generates.

Incidentally, both Elon Musk and Peter Thiel originally hail from South Africa where their fathers exploited the systems in place there to make their initial fortunes.

Blaine the Train has 99 fatalities already! Next one is a milestone!
Seems south Floridians in lower economic areas have for years impatiently walked/run across train tracks in front of slow moving 30 mph freight trains. The high speed train now barreling through these neighborhoods slow from 125 mph to 70 mph, and people still think they can outrun them across the tracks.
Newsflash: they can't. At least not consistently.

We should give credit to California politicians. The high speed rail project in the Central Valley is much safer the Brightline. CA politicians realize the key to HSR safety is to blow through billions in cost overruns and miss scheduling milestones to ensure that no track actually gets completed.

Men are all about things, how they work, how to build them, how to take them apart and rebuild them into something bigger and better.
