The child raping Branch Davidians KNEW an FBI raid was coming, and instead of peacefully surrendering, they armed up and waited in ambush, killing / murdering four agents.

The child raping Branch Davidians had no qualms about murdering FBI agents, because they knew they were all going to go down for child rape once the kids started talking to authorities - and then the child raping Branch Davidian "men" murdered their own wives and children so they couldn’t talk about the crimes those "men” committed.

I'm not denying anything you are saying about what pieces of shit the Branch Davidians were. My post was about the absolute fucked up job the ATF and then the FBI did in trying to apprehend David Koresh and the Branch Davidians. They knew that the Branch Davidians had heavy weaponry, including a .50 caliber sniper rifle, they knew that they had been tipped off to the raid, including timing of the raid, their own surveillance told them that David Koresh was in Waco regularly and could have easily been picked up. But a frontal assault by ATF agents mostly armed with handguns and submachine guns was an absolutely obvious tactical error. I'm sorry that those facts pissed you off. This was nothing more than a power play attempt by Janet Reno, the ATF, and the FBI, and it blew up in their face. They ended up doing nothing more than winding up so many anti-government militias. Hardly a success in anyone's eyes. That event still taints the ATF. Just as Ruby Ridge taints the FBI. And to be clear I am not supporting any anti-American militia with the intent to overthrow our government by force,

I am in no way defending the Branch Davidians, they were in fact horrible pieces of human debris. That has nothing to do with my post at all. My post is about the cluster fuck attempt at saber rattling that the ATF, FBI, and Janet Reno did that resulted in the deaths of 5 ATF agents, and including the 6 killed during the raid, 82 Branch Davidians killed including children.

I never understood why at the time that they couldn't have kept a minimum guard controlling access to the compound and just waited them out. Shut off the power, shut off the water, and essentially starve them out. Eventually one of 2 things would have happened, a surrender or mass suicide that could not be blamed on the fires that may or may not have been caused by the last assault.
