Either one will last a lifetime with light use BUT the O-ring of the 1100 will deteriorate with age.

Which makes the other make more sense, then.

My Mossberg is the 835 Turkey Special with the thumbhole stock.

I looked at some bird gun they have that would reach over to the next county and held all kindsa shells. One could load it on Sunday morning and hunt all week.

I didn't like him all that much when I first read him. He's grown on me.
Ya know who should have been grown today?
20 children from Newtown.
Good citizens still mourn their loss as their own.
Others are you (y’all).

You could’ve just posted this picture of the asshole and still gotten the point across that you wanna fellate his pistol.

Nope. All I know is the hype I've read.

Yeah, that's what I've looked at. I'm kinda guessing that if one already has a 300WM, that one can comfortably live the rest of one's life not sweating a 300 PRC. Besides, if I get a magnum action, I want a big fucking magnum cartridge to fit it.

Hornady is behind a great deal of what's going on with all these new chamberings. It's long been known that long, heavy, bullets had higher ballistic coefficients but all the designs were hit or miss based on guesstimates. They started using Doppler radar and high speed cameras to actually see and measure what's going on with the exterior ballistics. With that information they could tweak their designs. Obviously their goal is to sell bullets and many are tailored to satisfy fairly specific shooting regimens.
