maybe that explains the issues I was having with the picture I gave it. I have a son your age. maybe AI just doesn't know what to do with an old biddy like me. LOL

Bjarne Stroustrup, the father of C++ wrote the seminal reference on the language, fondly referred to as The Barny Book. It was purple, you see.
Anyway, in it there are/were two references to recursion in the index. One referenced a page in text where it was explained. the other was that page in the index.

C++ recursion was what basically ended my career as a developer. I was a really good C programmer, but I simply could not grok C++. That was okay, it allowed me to spread my wings into design and administration, and I retired from a successful stint as a software project manager.

Sad to hear you went to the dark side, though. I've been a code monkey my entire career, well, that and a purveyor of fine smut... :)

Is there some correlation between writers of software and writers of smut? ✋

(It's horrifying to think the first program I wrote was 50 yrs ago.)
