Fine plan, except that I have significant sight loss in my right eye. A red dot won't help that. The sight loss is significant enough that I can't see the front blade sight clearly through the rear sight, or the target beyond, right eyed. Left eye is still 100% so I can learn to shoot left handed which I can do fine with my bolt gun. I was looking for an option to still be able to shoot right handed with some way of pin pointing the target.

Pistol laser is fine for that but a rifle laser is only as good as the distance you can see it which isn't all that far in daylight.
