The way it looks right now is that the only "women" who support Hamas and the rest are the ones who will be tossed off the roof of a tall building once Hamas and the rest discover that they're not really "women" at all.
I see a lot of women in those college demonstrations supporting Hamas, it doesn't seem possible they could all be trans.:D

I haven't changed anything into anything. ReichGad demonstrates his obsession and delusions about Biden on the daily. I just point it out. Sorry if that bothers you.
It doesn't bother me at all, your lack of original thought is funny actually.

For the people that are actually here to discuss guns. what .22lr rifle is the best in your mind. I have a 10/22 and a Henry lever action. Are there better, middle priced .22 rifles?
I was looking at the Savage 64 takedown but it doesn't come with threaded barrel for suppressor. Ended up going with Ruger Rimfire Amarican bolt. Love the trigger on it. But no, not really anything better out there for cheaper.

My dear TH. It only takes a person to give one lie or disingenuous answer for me to Extend my wolverine claws. Be grateful that you have been afforded many more instances than the usual.

Better than the Savage AccuTrigger?

The kool part of zombies is that they'll just stand there so you can even kill 'em with a stick. That means high powered rifles aren't really needed. What you need is the ability to reach out and touch a zombie within about 1 MOA at 500 yds.

.22LR does that. Provided you have a good zero and optics. .22.250 just does it faster without wasted brass.

Yeah, but .22 at that range won't have enough oomph to get through the skull.
Plus, you have to get in there and scramble some brains! A .22 hole straight through won't get the job done.

I find no reason To take seriously a person who can’t distinguish between death of children from gun violence and the right of a woman.

Dude I can't see that far!

You just need a better scope. :D

LOL I just want a reliable, fun, plinking target rifle that on occasion can take out pest beasties in my yard.

I love the 10/22, but to be honest I think the Henry is more accurate.

For general use, go with the Ruger 10/22. Reliable and solid no frills rifle.

But, IMO, any center fire .22 is "better" than rimfire because you can reload the spent brass. Which makes the per round cost about the same. Depending on how many zombies you have to deal with at any one time, you can get away with a bolt gun most of the time. For the times you absolutely can't take the time for a fast follow up, like if the zombie hoard breaches the compound, .223 AR. If that don't do it, .410 semi auto shotgun. If you're still not gonna survive, I suggest you work on a better and improved escape plan.

Tikka makes a fantastic bolt action rifle with several chamber offerings in center fire .22 calibers. Howa is second only because of how good the Tikka really is right out of the box.

Years ago, I bought a Smith-Corona '03A3 five digit receiver which had been sporterized into a .308 Norma Magnum. Talk about your rounds that never caught on. I did do the research and have discovered that the chamber can be reamed to a .300 WM for about the same effort as reaming a new barrel. I did buy a few rounds of its ridiculously priced ammo to try it out, and it does shoot nicely. The buying decision was made on the interesting nature of the receiver. Anyway, it sits in the corner, waiting.

Future cartridge choices, if any, will be based on common availability.
I thought you had re-barreled that thing long ago. <shrug>

You probably didn't know this but they don't ship 25-06 East of the Mississippi, no one back East can shoot that far. :p:D

Better than the Savage AccuTrigger?
I have a Savage Axis 1, no Accutrigger to compare to. The Rimfire American goes down to 3.5 - 4lbs with little travel. Part of what sold it for me was also interchangeable butt stocks. Regular, compact and scope heights for both. Plus being bolt action safer for grandkids to learn on when they're ready.

22-250 at 500 yds is still moving just under 2000 fps with almost 400 ft lbs of energy. More than enough to keep zombies at arms length.

My fun is two fold actually. I have lost the majority of my sight in my right eye so I am converting to shooting left eyed. Adding to that I am pondering buying a left handed bolt gun. I can fire my right handed bolt gun left handed and do quite well, but as you can imagine it is awkward to work the bolt. Semi-autos are another story though. I am pondering laser red dot sights for the semi-autos.

As far as zombies go...I am quite prepared as long as I can figure a way to get a clear sight picture, either shooting left eyed or laser sighting.
