Good day from South Africa. I'm 53 and a white married male. This thread is interesting. Thank you for starting it.
I never met anyone from Lit because of my geographic location 🙂
I posted in several threads though and currently chat to some Lit members privately. They are from the UK and USA.

I had terrible sciatica and lower right side back pain last night. A little better today. Only relief is to stand up and walk around.... it is awful. Thanks for the offer...😉
How's this for sounding older, or just having bad genetics, after 4 surgeries on the lower back...I too am dealing with it and especially when the weather goes to frigid like here in Chicago area....sucks and hope you find your relief or at least a good distraction to take you away from the pain ;)

(grin) You're repeating yourself my dear....LOL
I AM glad you are a bit better. Those nagging pains are not fun. You are most welcome for the offer. They tell me I do a very nice job on those kinds of things.....who am I to argue ???

Hot tub and stretching!
I screwed up my back fairly young when I first tried golf. I had such horrible sciatica that for the first time in my life i wanted to kill myself. I had microdiscectomy surgery when I was 29. The surgery was successful. And the recovery resulted in me taking up weight training and body building which is why I still have a fsirly buff and strong physique today. But more importantly my back has been fine with only occasional flare ups due to overuse.
