A shooting coat like the ones used by highpower shooters would also help with felt recoil. It didn't make any sense to me why they'd use a sweatshirt under it, especially in the summer, but I tried it anyway and it does make a difference.

I looked at 6.5 uppers yesterday, and a really nice one is on Black Friday. Hell Wat may be into January at this rate.

It's not how it feels, it's that my spine cannot take even moderate impact. Something as simple as hopping up onto a curb can put me in bed for a week depending on how I land.

Putting a muzzle brake on a 22-250 with a heavy chassis and a mercury compensator could mean it won't move at all even without it being tucked into my shoulder pocket.

Gotcha. That's a damned shame. But it sounds like you're very aware and are taking proper precaution not to set it off. Best wishes with it.

You’re hardcore, coati. Lol. I gave em a break for the holiday.
Wait. It’s no longer turkey day.
I got almost all of the day off yesterday. Peeling potatoes and sweet potatoes.

I''ll continue to monitor this machine gunners circle jerk whenever I have time.

Haha.
HisArpy’s crocodile tears have convinced me that HE IS in fact a waaaaaahmbulance chaser.

Thank you, thank you. I’ll be here till Saturday.

Happy late Thanksgiving to you and your family. Hope all was well with you and yours. Ya gotta secret recipe you put in your sweet potatoes?
Always better to talk about taters causing intestinal gas inflation than weapons of mass destruction, don’t ya think?

We used a pretty simple recipe, actually. A little brown sugar, clove, cinnamon, and ginger.

Happy holidays to you and everyone else on this thread.

5.56mm of flour is all you need. I prefer the 7.62x39 out of my CZ527 glass pan. I'm old not much of a fan of cinnamon. The recoil from it gets me in the gut every time.

Currently looking at a Rem 700 series Frigidaire oven. The Defiance Machine, that’s what I call my current GE oven, is about to go kaput. I figure if I pair it with a Shilen barreled microwave it should cook better and I can hold the given equivalent grade sweet potato optics.

A binary isn't going to help much with a bolt gun. Check for aftermarket triggers.
True enough! Was not even thinking when I typed that. Shows how many bolt actions I have, and how little coffee I had this morning!

I hear you on the Bergara. I was like that on the .300 Winchester, but mean no disrespect towards it.., or you. I had a chance to take a used one, used as a sniper rifle for the local police department here, tricked out nicely, but wanted a Bergara 6.5 Creedmoor.

You sound like me, open-minded, but yet know what you want, and do not often go for less than what you want. Hopefully you get the rifle you want in any case, just for that reason.

I feel bad for having it sit idly in the safe-room, but I bought another house, and have been working on that. All available monies have been going to that. If I put it in the Bergara instead of a new kitchen, I think the wife would have used it on me!

I hear you on all of that. By the way, Santa might bring me a new scope from a Black Friday sale for the semi auto spud gun. No need to waste perfectly good potatoes because of crappy glass.

The Rem 700 series oven is a great choice for the money, especially the model with PF70 induction stovetop.

Those guys label the shipping by a rating system. The worse it is, the lower the number and the more likely you can buy something more "expensive" for less money because shipping is greatly reduced. Some places ship for free if you spend enough.
