Afternoon - mix of cloud and sun here in kent, though looks like it might rain later. Been doing actual work this morning. Bit of a break now and then three hours of meetings to finish off the week.

I used to hate managers who thought it was a good idea to schedule long meetings on a Friday afternoon. I got round it by scheduling a "progress meeting" for my team every Friday from 3pm until 5 - it was made clear that there was no need to attend but if people wanted a general "chew the fat and put the world to rights" get together I'd open up the call; worked for about six months until someone grassed me to a PM.
