I know it sounds cliche, but....green bean casserole. One of my kids has a recipe for it this year that should elevate it to another level.

We're trying gumbo style collard greens this year. My coworker told me about it, showed me the YouTube video of it being made, & now it's on our menu. Can't wait!

Ha! Well, it's delicious when prepared right. My coworker was talking about adding all sorts of stuff to a particular Thanksgiving dish & yuck, no thank you.
Everyone prepares things differently, so I'll just say her description was very much off the beaten path. And if she served it to me, I'd beat a path to the trash can .
