What’s your most controversial opinion?

Women can’t squirt! Total myth!!

My own experiences mean nothing! Outliers! Fake data!! I never tasted it, so who knows?

People who allow their feelings to rule their lives; who allow their emotions to be at the forefront of their decision-making moments, those who believe their feelings are 'true'.....those that confuse 'gut instinct' with 'follow your feelings' ... miss out on the best in life.

Feelings lie and confuse.

Feelings should never be ignored but they should never be your primary reason/source for making a decision.
Is that a true recipe for no strings attached fornication

I was going to post my own "real" opinion on something, but it felt like it'd be a wasted effort, to be honest. A lot of effort without anyone actually reading - let alone commenting seriously - what I wrote.

But, for now, I'll go with this:

In my opinion, the original "Outer Limits" was a better Sci-Fi series than the original Twilight Zone.

👆 Exactly this.

Feelings are my warning sign to pay attention to specific things or people, but they never dictate my decisions. When I have rare moments of feeling emotional versus practical/logical, I put myself in a time out to give myself space to calm down and relax so I can make decisions rationally.

Some men are sometimes more emotional than some women.

Absolutes rarely are.

"Tough Pills To Swallow" for $800, please.

absolutely correct though I doubt anyone guilty of it wants to hear it.

On another thread, I see an admission, or confession? Seemingly inappropriate and possibly actionable.

I love NASCAR, but I feel F1 is just a bunch of whiny, rich drivers who sit in way-too-expensive vehicles.

It's weird because I recall when F1 was the epitome of professional racing. It's what virtually ever driver aspired to. NASCAR was a bunch of redneck renegade moonshiners dirt round trackers. Indy was somewhere in between.

Somewhere in the 80s or 90s is when things changed.

Bingo!!
I grew up attending dirt races, Trans-Am and IMSA sports car races, sprint car, drags, and Indy car races! F1 was for the upper crust and highly narcissistic fans.

And I am not the stereotypical NASCAR fan: I'm Polish/Indigenous/French mix, was Catholic, college educated, Northern, and HATE Bud! LOL
