Well, it had to happen one day. I've dropped a camera before but, not like I dropped one yesterday.......and it had to be one I used often; it was a Sony with a 600mm fixed Zeiss lens . It hit a very hard surface and that was that. I did a good job of it......it's completely stuffed. Not a good idea buying a relatively expensive camera with a fixed lens. Hopefully it's not some sort of omen.

So, all that aside, we've been dabbling again, managing to capture a few bits and pieces before disaster struck.

We all have dropped an expensive tool! I was in the US Navy and dropped an expensive camera in th3 middle of the Indian Ocean! Talk about red tape that needed to fill out.
