Alot of people seem to skip the wars around that and the acceptance of Israel as a state. They both have a right to exist and Palestinians should have their state as well.

My post was simple to put into context chubbies attempt to use a quote to mean something different from what was meant.

As to the two state solution, that was the original intent, which was written into the Balfour letter. A point I have raised every time I comment here, the blame for this lies at the feet of the old British Empire.

. I tend to stay out of this thread, simple because I disagree vehemently with both "Governments" approaches and methods to come to an agreement between each party.. For decades innocent people on both sides have been needlessly "slaughtered" by two "fleas" fighting over who owns which area of the dog.

Israel and Judea (both now modern Israel) existed as self-governing entities long before the classical Greeks.

Palestine has NEVER existed as a self-governing entity.

The memo claims that there is a gap in the Biden administration’s messaging on the Israel-Hamas war and that the current line “contributes to regional public perceptions that the United States is a biased and dishonest actor, which at best does not advance, and at worst harms, U.S. interests worldwide,” Politico reported. The leaked memo concedes that Israel has the “legitimate right and obligation” to attack Hamas, though it adds that “the extent of human lives lost thus far is unacceptable.”
