I thought it was mostly agreed on (even though it sounds so much less likely than Israel did it) that HAMAS fucked up shooting missile and demolished the hospital. That doesn't really change what's going on in the larger scale.

I don't think you meant to do so, but you've made a case that there is NO reason for Gaza and it's citizens to exist, none. Maybe the place should be de-populated and let the Israeli's build settlements there again.

Depending on who you read there is an estimated 30k-50k 'fighters' in the Gaza. Throw in the various political 'leaders', collateral damage, and the citizens that Hamas it self has murdered and you can expect the death toll to reach as high as 80K when it's all said and done.

Whether or not they were beheaded is still in question.

The thing that's evident from this forum (and elsewhere) is that tribalism sets up a "it's all true" tribe and a "it's all false" tribe....neither of which will admit they aren't correct and both sides accusing the other of lying.

Regardless, all evidence of the October 7 Hamas attack reveal that it was ruthless and indiscriminate. And without that initial attack, I doubt any others would've followed.

Question - did Hamas know that the result of their initial actions would be the death of thousands of their own citizens?

Question - does Hamas understand that the result of their continued storage of weapons amongst cities is more deaths to its own citizens?

The exercise is whether you can address the above questions without blaming Israel.

I already know that you can't answer these without mentioning or blaming Israel.

It's the same exercise for others, who can't separate Hamas from innocent Palestinians....

And the result is truly that people don't want peace and would prefer to blame others for their position.
