I asked you what concessions you would expect dems to get for helping republicans. I don’t recall an answer coming that I saw in that thread. We live in a world where we should not be shocked by the bottom dragging of republicans (blocking nominees, seating George Santos, saying corporations are people) but, yeah, it still happens that they surprise. In addition to tying the IRS to aid to a pro-gay, pro-abortion ally they and their supporters oddly support like no other US ally, there are other republicans calling for it to be tied to border security. Dems, again, are clear on how they want the aid given. It is no surprise though that America is having to watch more republican infighting - now between senate and house.

Why? Why is it that seemingly sensible people look at the spending audit sheet of the American government across all administrations and parties and not try to make reasonable cuts to the by far biggest spender of our tax dollars?
