Hello all! Now that I have your attention, I have an important reminder to share as well! As we approach the end ofBreast Cancer Awareness Month
, I’d like to remind all the ladies (and those who love them) to conduct your monthly breast self exams. Check yourself or have your partner help check you. Check while laying down or in the shower. Check thoroughly and regularly, note any changes and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns!

You should also ask your general practitioner or OBGYN to conduct a physical breast exam as part of your annual physical or PAP test. If you’re 40+ or have a history of breast cancer in your family, consult with your doctor about how soon they recommend you start annual mammograms as well.
Early detection is key!

Luv this post so much! Thank you for the awesome information, and the valuable reminders for us and our loved ones.
I'm pretty sure they have posted some similar information on the bulletin board in the lunchroom at my workplace, but they most definitely didn't have anything to grab our "attention" quite like the delicious pic you shared up top, or else I could tell you with absolute certainty what was on those boards (lol). Your photo worked like a charm, Kitty...
Gorgeous photo. You are very sexy!
Thank you! It’s long been an a cause near and dear to my heart, and not just anatomically! My grandmother had breast cancer and my aunt is a survivor, thanks to early detection. It’s probably pretty small in the grand scheme of things, but in a previous video game community, I helped raise a few hundred for BCAM through unconventional community events and projects, and a couple thousand for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as well. Our for-profit health care industry is a mess in the states, so early detection, research and patient support are all so important for good outcomes! And hey, if we get to feel up some boobs in the process, win-win!
I appreciate you sharing about your family too. Sorry you’ve had to endure all that, but glad to hear about the high survival rates. Having a good support system is also a factor in that, and from what I know of you here, I have no doubt you and your family provide that for each other!Win-win, indeed. I'd never pass up any opportunity to help out when the job description is 'feeling up some boobs'!
But on the serious tip... Thank you for sharing those personal details. And thank you for the valuable work that you have done!
Cancer has run rampant through my entire family too, although we've been very fortunate to have high survival rates. However, we've also got that annoying mentality ('sometimes', but not always, characteristic of rural communities) where we tend to think of going to the doctor only as a last resort. So you can never remind us 'too' many times about the importance of being proactive. Thank you!
