We have 22-23 days until shutdown. A quick scan of the calendar has congress in session 11 days. I want to be optimistic but the majority party has no designed plan to solving problems.

Biden and democrats, I think, have a winning argument in tying aid to Ukraine to Israel. Ball is, again, in the republicans court.

If there is bipartisan support for approving the aid package for Ukraine, Israel, the Indo-pacific, humanitarian assistance, and the border, then the lawmakers should be able to get it through.

If the "republicans" decide to hold the country hostage again by reneging on the Debt Ceiling deal numbers, then the "republicans" will own the blame for whatever economic damage that follows.
