My unsubstantiated view of this is that McCarthy passed a spending bill that gave no $ to Ukraine and was ousted by Gaetz, under the direction of trump (my speculating). Repubs then rejected all their leaders with power and tenure, and now you believe that upstart trumper Johnson can coalesce a party steered by its fringe and dolt of a leading nominee, who is a willing idiot to Putin policy, to agree to fund Ukraine.
