The last thing Democrats want to do is wait for an "amendment to the constitution" which originates in the Congress and requires the vote of two thirds of the states. They want to turn judges into legislators which is not their function under the Constitution. The problem here is many in America are ignorant of the Constitution and the law. Your ignorance of American history, the law, constitutional law, and Supreme Court jurisprudence is glaringly apparent.

Are you saying the attack, i.e. the Slaughterhouse Cases and the 14th Amendment, on Stare Decisis which resulted in the overturning of the Dred Scott decision shouldn't have happened?

If you're going to resort to an argumentum ab auctoritate you need to provide that authority or risk an assumption of a logical fallacy. You made a statement of fact you either can't, or are too lazy to back up. Recall Dred Scott was also settled law until it wasn't.

I said it’s fortunate that Trump is not a judge and it’s fortunate that the judge who ruled in this case and SCOTUS understand the Constitution. Read more carefully next time.

Fine. I'm too lazy to argue with someone who knows a lot of legalese but is too entrenched in his own bubble to admit to well-known facts.
