I think Jordan is going to get 190 votes this go.

If it ends up being that low, House Dems should do an extended minute of laughter to rub it in. (I know I will.)

Yes...but...if you follow the individual votes...you will see there are those that voted yes first round...have voted no the second round. And vice versa. You should know how it works

As it stands...McHenry getting expanded powers is a no go for both sides without concessions...and neither side...Republican nor Democrat will yield.

I am totally OK with the Democrats yielding to this resolution if 2 things are met...only a continuing resolution on the budget can be brought to the floor...no addins...no cuts. And if Ukraine gets their funding. I am willing to allow some aid go to Israel as long as they agree to humanitarian aid also. Keep it simple. This is a terrible precedent.

It is. But still maybe not. If you look at who they are voting for....a lot of new names coming up. Republicans are searching for someone they can all support. They will not work with Democrats until all other paths are explored. That means they have 28 days

They have no consensus. It makes more sense for the party to back off a vote till they do and a deal let's them do that.

The Republicans are blaming Dems for not voting for an insurrectionist who is accused of supporting a pedophile and who wants to cut medicare. It's all the fault of the Dems, because they negotiated with Speaker McCarthy to pass legislation and thus forced Pizza Gaetz to bin McCarthy from the position.



Of course, if the tables were turned the Republicans would be voting for Pelosi.
