I've never fired a full auto M16 but I have fired the SAW M249. It shoots the 5.56mm round too. Sweet gun, hardly any recoil and dead on accurate.

I've never fired a full-auto weapon. When Junior and I used to go shooting with the club way back when and somebody brought something to the range, I always made sure he shot it. I think that he got a kick out of that.

Yes, it is, and somewhat in keeping with Tsarist firearms as I find the Mosin-Nagant to be a bit of an oddball, too.


This month's buy looks to be a walnut original M14 production stock. Seems they're getting quite scarce. It'll go nicely with my synthetic and the 2 birch stocks I already have.
