It isn't the shit random posts that people are talking about that bother me. It is the creation of hate threads that I want to ignore. It is when he goes off a deep end and starts stalking women here and they want to ignore him in their threads. That is the issue. It is his choice to not allow others to ignore him...just as it is his choice to not allow people to question his actions through a PM. It is a power thing for him. He makes a mod decision...you have no recourse.

I have to disagree with this. Giving his example of sexual assault, he is saying that until no men commit sexual assault then all men commit sexual assault. We just need a couple of verbs and more generalisation.

The statements of “Until no *****, it’s all *****” is put out there by people who don’t want others to enjoy life, who want people to listen and agree with their opinion, who want to scaremonger but most importantly of all, they want people to hate each other. People use generalisations and stereotyping to fit their own agendas.

Just as an example, if it is said that “all men are rapists” then following the logic that this guy gives “all women cry rape”. Where does that leave us?

I prefer to consider everybody as different, each having their own good and bad ways. ALL PEOPLE are capable of being the best or worst version of themselves.

What I will say is that when I pass a woman who is a stranger to me on the street at night, I’m not considering, if she is going to be a danger to me.

I still remember the time when jaF was one of the people that you followed around. You often did your petty, playground, nasty name calling on him. Now there is an opportunity to use somebody else’s comment about him to further antagonise another person, you see him as an ok person who doesn’t talk drivel.

If bogey bothers you that much, put him on ignore. Nobody says you have to like him or read his shenanigans. That is your choice. As you are always telling others, everybody has the right to post how they want and to not let little things become a problem for them.

This might be a factor but I think for most, especially older Macro American beer drinkers, bottles were considered a little classier than aluminum cans. For so long cans were seen as cheap alternative. It is not even close anymore. Bottles especially if they are clear or green give some pretty awful light struck off flavors.

Doesn't this depend on the beer style? For instance, stouts, barleywines, quads and porters aren't impacted as much --- and as @Cratos mentioned, certainly not the European bottle-conditioned beers?

Typically it's to let the consumer know there's fake meat in it so you don't buy it expecting a regular spring roll, vegetable pie, etc if you're an omnivore.

That's your right and your prerogative but it doesn't seem like a great way to live. I could be remembering this incorrectly but you have a male child, don't you? Do you fear him? Certainly there is reason to be skeptical in situations. You are bright, perceptive and experienced. I would hope you would be confident enough in your abilities to recognize situations where potential danger exists and where it doesn't.

That said, I haven't walked in your shoes and I can't possibly ever have your perspective. I have, in the past, taken occasional offense to generalizations but maybe I need to re-examine that position.
